Atrovent jest lekiem wydawanym na receptę, zatem zasadność i potrzebę jego stosowania ocenia lekarz. Zgodnie z Kartą Charakterystyki Produktu lek Atrovent jest wskazany jako środek rozszerzający oskrzela w leczeniu podtrzymującym stanów skurczowych oskrzeli w przewlekłej obturacyjnej chorobie płuc (POChP), obejmującej przewlekłe zapalenie oskrzeli i rozedmę płuc oraz w astmie oskrzelowej. Zatem kaszel krtaniowy nie stanowi wskazania do inhalacji.

Proponuję zacząć od inhalacji solą fizjologiczną, zanim skonsultuje się Pani z lekarzem, który na podstawie badania fizykalnego podejmie decyzję, czy zasadne będą inhalacje z Atroventem.
