W/w leki można stosować tylko wtedy, gdy zostały zaordynowane przez tego samego lekarza lub jeśli lekarze przepisujący te preparaty byli poinformowani o tym, jakie inne leki pacjent już zażywa.

Kortykosteroidy (Pabi-Dexamethason) wykazują działanie hiperglikemizujące antagonizując działanie leków przeciwcukrzycowych - powoduje osłabienie działania doustnych leków przeciwcukrzycowych (Glucophage).

Zaleca się wzmożone monitorowanie poziomu glukozy we krwi oraz zmianę dawkowania leków przeciwcukrzycowych, gdy do terapii włączane są kortykosteroidy.
