Jeżeli dziecko jest współpracujące i będzie potrafiło swobodnie oddychać przez ustnik, nie wkładając tam języka, nie plując do środka itp. to nie ma przeciwskazań do używania ustnika.
Należy pamiętać, że po nebulizacji nebbudem powinno się przepłukać jamę ustną wodą, aby zapobiegać zakażeniom grzybiczym.
