Did your doctor recommend the correct dosage of Klacid?
Good morning. The daughter is 6 and a half years old and weighs 26 kg . The doctor prescribed the antibiotic klacid 125 mg / 5 ml pack of 60 ml. He calculated from memory that the child should receive 4 ml of 2×dily every 12 h. The leaflet shows that a child of this weight should receive 7.5 ml of 2× per day. Is a dose of 4 ml twice a day adequate?

Dziękuję za podzielenie się swoim przypadkiem. Jeśli jest Pani zaniepokojona zaleconym dawkowaniem leku, to najlepiej na ten temat porozmawiać z lekarzem pediatrą, który ten antybiotyk przepisał. Trudno jest ocenić dawkowanie bez znajomości dokumentacji medycznej, a dawkowanie dobiera się też do schorzenia i stanu ogólnego pacjenta.
