Lek Izotek jest stosowany w leczeniu ciężkich postaci trądziku takich jak: trądzik guzkowy, trądzik skupiony, trądzik z ryzykiem powstawania trwałych blizn opornych na odpowiednio przeprowadzone standardowe leczenie działającymi ogólnie lekami przeciwbakteryjnymi i lekami stosowanymi miejscowo. W Charakterystyce Produktu Leczniczego nie ma informacji, by jego zastosowanie było słuszne w leczeniu egzemy bądź łuszczycy.
