Can I use a reduced dose of the antibiotic Clindanea?
Good morning The doctor prescribed me an antibiotic for the tooth,Clindanea.Ja reading the side effects of taking this antibiotic,I began to take 2x half a tablet and not 2x after the whole as the dentist ordered. The question is whether if the dose reduced by me will not work, I can take the entire dose during the course of the dose as recommended by the doctor or is it not allowed to increase at this point the start of the treatment with a smaller dose for a larger one of the same antibiotic?

Antybiotyk należy stosować zgodnie ze wskazaniami lekarza. Zastosowanie zbyt małej dawki leku może spowodować zmniejszenie jego skuteczności oraz wytworzenie przez bakterie oporności na antybiotyk. Może również dojść do niedoleczenia infekcji i za jakiś czas nastąpi nawrót objawów. W ulotkach leków zawarty jest opis wszystkich działań niepożądanych, które mogą wystąpić w trakcie stosowania preparatu. Działania te mogą ale nie muszą wystąpić.
