Is it possible that Nebbud has an expectorant effect and therefore intensifies coughing?
Hello. The daughter (one year and three months) is prescribed inhalation from NEBBUD twice a day for one ampula. In this way, we treat wet cough , which persists from Monday. However, I have the impression that the cough is getting worse, more and more often during the day and night it is caught by 15-minute coughing attacks. Is it possible that nebBUD has an expectorant effect and therefore the cough intensifies (and soon we can expect an improvement), or is the disease just getting worse? Best regards.

Lek Nebbud nie działa wykrztuśnie, natomiast inhalacja sama w sobie może nasilać kaszel, który może utrzymywać się nawet do 2 godzin od momentu zakończenia nebulizacji.
Nebulizacji nie wolno także wykonywać przed snem, gdyż spowoduje to spływanie wydzieliny po tylnej ścianie gardła, w związku z czym kaszel będzie obecny także w nocy.
Inhalacje należy wykonać najpóźniej 3 godziny przed snem. Należy także pamiętać o zaklejeniu otworów w maseczce tak, aby lek w postaci mgiełki "nie uciekał" z maseczki.
Jeśli jednak kaszel nasila się w ciągu dnia, niezależnie od nebulizacji, należy skonsultować się z lekarzem - warto, aby osłuchał dziecko.
