Pomiędzy alprazolamem (Afobam) i karbamazepiną (Tegretol, Finlepsin) wykazano interakcję polegającą na osłabieniu działania alprazolamu podczas jednoczesnego stosowania z karbamazepiną.

Jeśli stosowanie obu leków zostało zalecone przez lekarza, wspomniana interakcja międzylekowa nie stanowi zagrożenia dla zdrowia i nie jest przeciwwskazaniem do doraźnego stosowania alprazolamu. Jeśli w Pani odczuciu, działanie alprazolamu byłoby niewystarczające, należy skonsultować z lekarzem zasadność modyfikacji dawki leku. Samodzielnie nie należy jednak pod żadnym pozorem zmieniać schematu dawkowania.
