Why did I get bleeding after sticking the patch that peeled off in the bath again?

I have been using Evra contraceptive patches since January. On Monday 21.06 I glued the third patch (unfortunately with a slight delay, because I usually did it around 11 o'm, and this time it was about 16). In the evening, i had a patch peeled off in the bath for a while, but within a minute I quickly dry it and stick it again. I'm not sure if he's been holding on properly ever since. On Wednesday 23.06 I started bleeding. This is not a slight smation just looks for a typical period. I have a patch all the time on myself and I should keep it on Monday 28.06, then take a 7day break. Is my patch still working? And should I peel it off and wait for the bleeding again on 28.06?
