Chronada zawiera siarczan chondroityny, który nie jest lekiem przeciwbólowym. Prawdą jest natomiast, iż długotrwałe stosowanie tego preparatu może zmniejszyć dolegliwości ze strony stawów, zwłaszcza stawu kolanowego, w niewielkim stopniu może niwelować również bóle krzyża.
