Podczas stosowania antybiotyków (szczególnie zewnętrznie) zaleca się unikania ekspozycji na słońce. Należy osłaniać szczególnie miejsca objęte leczeniem.
Jeżeli leczony fragment skóry będzie narażony na silne działanie słońca, może dojść do reakcji alergicznych, poparzeń słonecznych i przebarwień skóry.
