Przyjmowanie leków przeciwpłytkowych, jak np. Plavix nie stanowi przeciwwskazania do szczepienia przeciw COVID-19. Jest to jednak sytuacja wymagająca szczególnej ostrożności, podobnie jak w przypadku innych szczepionek podawanych domięśniowo, gdyż wiąże się z ryzykiem wystąpienia krwiaka w miejscu wstrzyknięcia.
Przed przystąpieniem do szczepienia należy poinformować lekarza o wszystkich przyjmowanych lekach, specjalista podejmie ostateczną decyzję o podaniu szczepionki.
