Preparat znajduje się na liście leków, które mogą być wydane bezpłatnie seniorom, jednak wskazaniem refundacyjnym dla leku Eliquis 2,5 mg po 20 tabletek (tylko takie opakowanie znajduje się na liście leków refundowanych) są żylne powikłania zakrzepowo-zatorowe u dorosłych pacjentów po przebytej planowej alloplastyce całkowitej stawu biodrowego (do 38 dnia po przebytej alloplastyce) lub kolanowego (do 14 dnia po przebytej alloplastyce) - prewencja pierwotna. Jeśli nie przebył Pan/Pani operacji ortopedycznej, to najprawdopodobniej nie ma wskazań uprawniających do otrzymania leku bezpłatnie w związku z wszczepieniem zastawki.
