Are brown and black spotting normal when taking Glucophage on PCOS?

I take glucophage xr 1000 per pco. Since I started using the drug, I began to scouch brown - black. Is this a normal situation?

Tak, plamienia podczas stosowania metforminy (np. Glucophage) mogą występować - najprawdopodobniej w Pani przypadku jest to związane z "uruchomieniem" owulacji. Brązowe i czarne plamienie jest często związane z obniżeniem stężenia estrogenów w fazie owulacji, czyli około 15. dnia cyklu. Często brązowe plamienie może być powiązane z niewłaściwym przebiegiem fazy lutealnej, która z kolei będzie się wiązać z niewłaściwym wykształcaniem się ciałka żółtego.

Jeśli plamienia będą się przedłużać należy skonsultować się z ginekologiem.
