Podczas zakażeń grzybiczych, karmiąc piersią można stosować miejscowe leki przeciwgrzybicze zawierające fentikonazol, np. Gynoxin. Przy podaniu dopochwowym jest on bardzo słabo absorbowany do krążenia mamy, stąd przenika do mleka w znikomym stopniu i może być stosowany podczas laktacji.
