Erythema, itching of the eyes and dizziness when using metformin - or discontinue the use of the drug?

Hello. I have insulin resistance and last night I took the first Tablet Formetic 500 , this morning there was erythema, itching and burning of the eyes and dizziness all over my face. Is that normal? Stop taking the medicine or continue until the body gets used to it?

Objawy, o których Pani wspomina mogą wskazywać na reakcję nadwrażliwości na lek. Nie jest to normalna reakcja organizmu na lek. Objawy te prawdopodobnie nie miną wraz z kontynuowaniem leczenia. Należy odstawić lek i niezwłocznie skontaktować się z lekarzem prowadzącym.
