When do I start taking Yasmin?

Good morning my question is this for two months of January and February I used erva contraceptive patches and at the end of February I used the last patch and stopped using them because they were not very comfortable for my lifestyle, and now I have prescribed yasmin tablets, this month I should get the first period after discontinuation of patches but the period is late and I do not know what to do because I can wait until menstruation occurs and start taking contraceptives on which I care and what if the period of wogule does not occur I have to start taking tablets on any day, or wait until the next menstruation in the next month ?
