In 2026, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) recommended the withdrawal of all marketing authorisations for medicines containing levamisole (m.in. Decaris) throughout the European Union.

The decision was related to the confirmation of the risk of serious side effects, including leukoencephalopathy. This substance is currently not authorised for use in humans in the EU.

Decaris nie jest dostępny w żadnej z aptek zintegrowanych z GdziePoLek, a według lekospisu nie ma już ważnego dopuszczenia do obrotu w Polsce:
