I take Trexan 2.5 mg once a week 2x2 tablets. I noticed that for the next 3 days I took 1x 2 tablets of Trexan instead of another drug. What to do?

Such a situation requires urgent contact with the attending physician. Trexan is a drug that is taken once a week in many indications, and accidental daily use can lead to toxic effects, even if the dose does not seem high.
Do not take further doses of Trexane until you have your individual medical advice. Look out for symptoms such as mouth ulcers, sore throat, fever, increased nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, bruising or bleeding gums.
Since the risk assessment depends on the total dose taken, the indication for treatment, age and other medications used, a medical consultation is necessary today. Your doctor may recommend follow-up tests (m.in. blood count and liver tests) and determine further action.
