My son will be visiting family in Poland. Is it possible for him to purchase my 3 month prescription for Wegovy .25 mg for kidney disease (FSGS) from a Polish pharmacy with the original prescription from a U.S. doctor and bring it back to the U.S. when he flies back? My insurance does not cover its use for anything but diabetes which I do not have and it is too expensive in the U.S.
Thank you for helping me.

Filling foreign prescriptions in Poland is possible only if they meet the relevant requirements.
The requirements for foreign prescriptions are described in the article:
https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-zrealizowac-zagraniczna-recepte-w-polsce
If the prescription you have meets the requirements specified in the article, there are no contraindications to its use in a Polish pharmacy.
At the same time, I would like to point out that Wegovy is a drug that requires proper storage. The preparation should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8 degrees. Transport of the drug in other conditions may affect the safety of its use. It is allowed to store the drug at a temperature below 30 degrees, but then the preparation can be used for a maximum of 6 weeks.

According to the data provided by the government parties, the transport of medicines can only take place for personal use and upon presentation of a prescription or an appropriate medical certificate. It was not indicated what conditions should be met when transporting the medicine to a third party. In this case, it is worth consulting, for example, the American consular office. Guidelines for the transport of medicines from Polish to the USA can be found at the link:
