Catalin drops act locally in the eye and very rarely give general symptoms. Nausea or "feeling strange" are not typical side effects, but theoretically they can happen, for example, if part of the drug runs down the tear duct into the throat and is swallowed.
If the symptoms are mild, you can try to reduce their occurrence – after the drop, gently press the corner of the eye near the nose for about a minute (this reduces absorption into the body).
However, if nausea persists, worsens or other symptoms appear, discontinue use and contact your doctor – it is worth assessing whether it is definitely related to the drug or another cause.
