I have a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. I took the first dose of Citrafleet about 2 hours ago. Half an hour later I started drinking liquids. So far I had to do it for a very short time, but maybe a little bit of diarrhea, which looked like water, came out. Nothing more. I have a bit of grumbling in my stomach. Why doesn't Citrafleet work?

Citrafleet can start working a little later than two hours - each patient has an individual reaction to this type of drug. In some cases (e.g. in patients with high body weight or chronic constipation), doctors recommend drinking a little more water than the prescribed 2 liters.
