Do not use Ovixan cream on the mucous membranes, genital area and around the rectum unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Taking Ovixan in these areas may result in increased absorption of the active substance and the occurrence of systemic effects of the steroid (including side effects). Steroids used on delicate areas of the body can cause thinning of the epidermis layer and the appearance of petechiae.
