3 ml.A 6-year-old child got diarrhea. I don't know if I should continue to give the antibiotic. The doctor told me to take it for 7-10 days, but if I continue to administer it, the diarrhea will intensify and eventually the child will become dehydrated.

Diarrhoea is a very common side effect seen in patients receiving antibiotic treatment. Antibiotic therapy should not be discontinued on your own, as this may lead to recurrence of the infection and the development of drug resistance. If your symptoms are severe, contact your doctor who will assess the possibility of changing your treatment. The child should be given electrolytes (to avoid dehydration) and probiotics (they replenish the normal intestinal flora, alleviate gastrointestinal ailments).
