Good morning, if at 9 a.m. I got the cervarix vaccine and at 1 p.m. I took nimesil to dissolve for severe menstrual pain, could it have harmed the vaccine?

The effect of anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, e.g. Nimesil) on the immunisation process after vaccination remains unclear. Studies to date, which have evaluated other types of vaccines, have not yielded clear answers. In the light of current knowledge, such an interaction seems clinically insignificant. There is no basis to assume that Nimesil will suppress the immune response after vaccination.
