In order to transport narcotic or psychotropic drugs abroad, according to the recommendations of the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), you must have a permit for the transport of these substances for personal use and a photocopy of your doctor's prescription.
Transport of Medikinet (containing methylphenidate, a psychotropic substance) abroad requires a certificate issued by a doctor and certified by the Voivodeship or the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (WIF/GIF). The document must cover a period of up to 30 days and be issued max. 15 days before departure. Medicines should be transported in the original packaging with a copy of the prescription.
If you are travelling outside the EU, you should check the laws of your country, which may have stricter laws and require additional documents.
