Can Fevarin cause severe irritability, anger and aggression after a few months?
12.99 zł

I take Fevarin in a dose of 100mg, at the beginning it was great, it calmed down intrusive thoughts, I functioned very well on it. He silenced obsessiveness. I've been taking this drug since about November, but I tried to be so nervous, even aggressive, that I can't cope with it. Is it possible after this drug? I've read that medicine can cause irritability and anger, but so much so that you scream, call names, throw medicines?

A pharmacist cannot decide on the use of prescription drugs, especially without knowing the patient and their treatment history. If the symptoms are very bothersome and you cannot wait, please contact your general practitioner.

E.g. Pramolan?
I have no way of contacting my doctor for the next two weeks. And I'm so angry that I can't cope

And is there a chance, for example, that after turning on some other tranquilizer, is there a chance that these effects of aggression and explosiveness will calm down?

Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder requires consultation with a psychiatrist and an individual approach based on a detailed interview with the patient. In order to choose a new drug, you should consult your doctor.

These effects have not gone away for four months, so I guess they will not go away?

What can I use besides fevarina for obsessive compulsive disorder and very bothersome intrusive thoughts? It was the only drug that calmed them down, but I'm very aggressive.

Yes, it is possible. Fevarin (fluvoxamine) may cause irritability, anxiety and impulsivity, although side effects most often occur at the start of treatment or after an increase in dose. However, if they occur later and are so intense (screaming, outbursts of anger), it is necessary to contact a doctor urgently. Do not discontinue the drug on your own - the doctor will assess whether these are really side effects of the drug and may change the dose or suggest another preparation.
