Lenzetto (estradiol spray) is a hormone replacement therapy, not contraception, so the rules for starting it depend on whether you are still menstruating or if your cycle has already stopped completely:

If you still have regular periods: It is best to start treatment on day 1 of your cycle (i.e. the first day of bleeding), which allows you to best synchronize the therapy with your natural hormonal rhythm.

If your periods are irregular or stopped (menopause): You can start using this medicine on any day of your choice, provided that your doctor has ruled out pregnancy.

It is worth remembering that Lenzetto is an estrogenic preparation – in women with a preserved uterus, the doctor usually recommends taking a progestogen for part of a month to protect the uterine mucosa. Check if your doctor has prescribed a second medicine for use on specific days of the month.
