Avamys can cause temporary nasal discomfort such as bleeding, mucosal ulcers or excessive dryness and nasal discomfort. To avoid side effects of the drug, moisturizing and regenerating the mucous membrane preparations should be used, such as Rinopanthein ointment, Nozoil spray or Nollix. Additionally, Avamys is best applied to the lateral parts of the nose, avoiding the nasal septum area.
