Is it safe to take 2 Vermox 100 mg tablets at a time?
Hello.
I was recommended Vermox 100mg for deworming. The leaflet says 2 X a day for 1 tablet, but I was recommended 2 tablets a night at a time, then for the next 2 days after 1 in the morning and in the evening.
Isn't this dose of 2 tablets at a time harmful?

A single intake of 2 Vermox tablets (100 mg each) is usually not harmful and is within the range of doses used in deworming therapy, especially if the regimen is short-lived.
This medicine works mainly in the gastrointestinal tract and the risk of side effects with a single dose is low – mild stomach symptoms such as nausea, stomach pain or diarrhoea may occur. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions and take subsequent doses as directed. If you have any doubts or worsen symptoms after taking a single dose, contact your doctor.
