Auroxetyn And alcohol - can you drink alcohol and do you skip a dose of medicine?

What does taking auroxetine and alcohol look like? I'm already after about a month of use, I don't drink alcohol often, but today is New Year's Eve and I'm wondering if if I'm going to drink, should I skip today's dose or what to do?

Auroxetine (atomoxetine) is not strictly contraindicated with alcohol, although it is not a recommended combination. Alcohol can exacerbate side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, poorer concentration or low mood.

You should not skip a dose of the drug just because you plan to drink alcohol - it can be worse than taking the drug as directed. Paroxetine persists in the body anyway, so side effects can occur despite missing a dose, and in addition, there may be a deterioration in well-being or withdrawal symptoms.

If you do drink, then in small amounts, avoid getting drunk and watch your body's reaction, and if you feel worse, stop drinking alcohol.
