A dose of clindamycin 300 mg three times a day is often used for dental infections.

However, in exacerbated gastritis, this drug can aggravate gastrointestinal discomfort. Caution should be exercised in people with asthma and allergy propensity, although clindamycin rarely causes allergic reactions. Take it after a meal and drink a full glass of water to reduce the risk of stomach irritation. If severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, rash or shortness of breath occur, you should stop the treatment and contact your doctor urgently, and if in doubt, it is worth confirming the therapy with your dentist or doctor.
