No, you should not increase the dose of Febrofen to 400 mg per day on your own – the maximum recommended dose is 200 mg once a day, due to the risk of serious side effects such as stomach bleeding, kidney or liver damage.
If the pain persists despite the medication used, please consult your doctor - the pain may require additional protective medication (e.g. for the stomach), paracetamol or a change in therapy.
