Consuming this amount of alcohol daily while using Maviret significantly increases the risk of liver damage, as both the drug and alcohol have hepatotoxic potential.

Alcohol can also weaken the effectiveness of therapy and increase side effects such as fatigue, headache, nausea, as well as liver dysfunction seen in laboratory tests. It is strongly recommended to avoid alcohol during treatment with Maviret and to consult your doctor to assess your risks and adjust your therapy. If you experience symptoms such as jaundice, swelling or severe fatigue, you should see a doctor immediately.
