The pharmacist seems to have missed a few classes and hence this ignorance 🙊, of course, that you can apply testosterone subcutaneously. In justified cases and situations. And often then it has a much better effect than administered intramuscularly. And as for the needles and sizes, I also suggest reading 🤦 ♂️ that the needle should be adjusted to the posture of the person taking the drug, and not because it was written in the 🤦 ♂️ book
of course, testosterone can be administered subcutaneously, and it's nonsense that only intramuscularly, please don't be guided by this because this lady is misleading, with trt even microdoses are administered 7x a week of 15mg just subcutaneously in the abdomen :)

Testosterone prolongatum is for intramuscular injection only. Injections should be made deep into the gluteal muscle. Injections of oil solutions should be done very slowly. Testosterone is absorbed very slowly after intramuscular administration, which allows for longer time intervals between doses and reduces the risk of side effects. This type of injection requires the use of needles about 70 mm long and 0.8 - 0.9 in diameter. Separate needles are used to remove material from the ampoule (they can be larger).
