Good morning.
I started taking duphaston on the 5th day of my cycle, according to the doctor's recommendations, from the 5th to the 25th day I am supposed to take it 2x1 tablet a day. The drug was prescribed for PCOS, irregular menstruation.
Today is my 14th day of my cycle, but yesterday there was spotting, slight bleeding and today it persists.
Is this normal or does it require consultation with a doctor?

It is normal for bleeding or spotting to occur during the first few months of treatment with Duphaston. This is a common side effect. If they are not abundant and are not accompanied by other worrying ailments, there is no reason to worry.
If you have any further doubts, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also arrange a teleconsultation via Gdziepolek:
