Can I take Lamotrix with Ryeqo hormonal drug?
I'm taking lamotrigine and I've read that when taking Ryeqo and lamotrigine, its plasma concentration may change. This hormonal drug is also a contraceptive and I am afraid that lamotrigine will weaken its contraceptive effect.
Of course, I will ask the doctor, but it will only be in a month.
Is Ryeqo safe for gastritis? If the stomach gets worse from the drug, can it be temporary?

Up to @Agnes:
The dose of lamotrigine may need to be adjusted, especially if there is a deterioration in well-being or worsening of the symptoms of the disease. However, you should not change the dose yourself.
Ryeqo, despite containing hormonal components, is not a contraceptive – its main purpose is to treat the symptoms of uterine fibroids. If contraception is needed, a separate, appropriate method should be used after consultation with your doctor.
Should I then increase the dose of Lamotrigine in consultation with my doctor in case of a problem? Can this help? Lamotrigine is the pillar of my treatment.
Is Ryeqo a contraceptive? I've read various contradictory opinions..

Ryeqo can affect the concentration of lamotrigine in the blood - it usually lowers it, which can weaken its effect. Therefore, with the concomitant use of these drugs, it is usually recommended to control the concentration of lamotrigine in the blood and observe the symptoms (e.g. severity of seizures, mood changes).
Lamotrigine does not impair the contraceptive efficacy of Ryeqo.
When it comes to gastritis, Ryeqo can cause stomach discomfort (nausea, stomach pain) in some people. They are usually temporary and go away after a few weeks, but if your symptoms get worse, you should contact your doctor - they may consider changing your medication or adjusting your dose.
