Nausea after starting treatment with Invokan (canagliflozin) is one of the possible side effects of the drug, which often occurs at the beginning of therapy and usually disappears after a few days or weeks as the body gets used to the drug.
It is worth taking the medicine at the same time of the day, preferably before the first meal, and take care of proper hydration, as Invokana increases the body's fluid loss. It is worth eating smaller and more frequent meals during this period, avoiding fatty and hard-to-digest foods, which can help alleviate the ailments.
