Aglan (meloxicam) does not belong to the group of medicines that cause weight gain as a side effect.
The active substance of the preparation is meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the group of oxycams. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. The most commonly observed side effects relate to the digestive system. Ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, especially in elderly patients.
