Immediately after menstruation or even during menstruation, blood tests such as morphology, creatinine levels, urea, TSH, electrolytes can be performed – the result will be reliable. If the bleeding has subsided, a general urine test can also be performed.
It is recommended to avoid performing a urine test during menstruation, as menstrual blood can contaminate the sample and falsify the result.
