Yes, you can take magnesium with vitamin B6 after drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol causes increased diuresis and loss of electrolytes, as well as worse absorption of Mg ions, so it is recommended to supplement deficiencies. If you experience symptoms such as muscle cramps or eyelid twitching, you should take about 400 mg of magnesium per day for 6-8 weeks.
