Does it make sense to test the level of ft3 after novothyral? Since the level of ft3 drops just a few hours after taking the drug. It is taking this drug in the morning and the next day doing the test at 8 o'clock the ft3 level will be very low much lower than the day before. What exactly is the pharmacokinetics of ft3?

Pharmacokinetics of Novothyral:
Novothyral contains two active substances - synthetic thyroid hormones - levothyroxine (T4) and liothyronine (T3). Levothyroxine administered orally on an empty stomach is absorbed at a maximum of 80%, depending on the formulation administered, while liothyronine administered orally is absorbed at 78% to 95%. Following oral administration, the onset of levothyroxine is observed after 3 to 5 days and the maximum effect occurs approximately 9 days, with the delay in peak effect probably due to conversion to liothyronine. After a single oral administration of liothyronine, the maximum effect occurs after approximately 2-3 days. Levothyroxine is 99.95% bound to plasma proteins, while liothyronine is 99.7% bound. The high binding of levothyroxine to plasma proteins explains its long half-life of one week. The slightly lower plasma protein binding of liothyronine is responsible for a shorter half-life of 1 day.
The above information is taken from the summary of product characteristics. The test of thyroid hormone levels is to assess the effectiveness of the therapy. The analysis of T4 levels is considered together with the level of other hormones: TSH and T3.
