Yes, you can use Olfen in this situation. If colchicine is ineffective, the standard management of a gout attack is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. diclofenac, naproxen, ibuprofen) or glucocorticoids prescribed by a doctor.
Olfen (diclofenac) can help reduce pain and swelling as long as there are no contraindications (peptic ulcer disease, kidney failure, cardiovascular problems). If the symptoms are severe or recurrent, it is worth urgently consulting a doctor in order to choose the appropriate gout treatment and possible prevention of relapses.
