Intolerance usually manifests itself as hypersensitivity to baker's yeast. It is a different species of yeast than found in the above-mentioned probiotic preparations, but due to the tendency to intolerance, it will be better to use products containing probiotic bacterial strains, e.g. Alflorex, Sanprobi IBS.
