It all depends on the doctor's decision. Please do not make any changes without consulting a specialist.
Is lavericetam first discontinued and carbamazepine introduced if the doctor so decides?

Perhaps the doctor will decide to change the treatment and replace Lamilept with, for example, a drug with valproic acid, topiramate or carbamazepine.
Why it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Your symptoms may be related to the side effects of levetiracetam, which in some patients causes headaches, burning or throbbing sensations, especially in the first days of therapy. A dose of 2×1000 mg may be relatively high for you, especially when you are using lamotrigine at the same time, which may exacerbate the symptoms. If the symptoms are severe, unusual or accompanied by visual or speech disorders or sudden weakness, you should urgently consult a doctor or go to the emergency room. Do not stop taking medication on your own, but discuss the situation with your neurologist as soon as possible to adjust the dose or pace of drug administration.
