How to use Efudix correctly?

Efudix should be applied topically to the skin lesions twice a day, in enough to cover the lesions.

Treatment is carried out until erosion appears, after which the drug must be discontinued. Usually, the treatment lasts from 2 to 4 weeks, and complete healing occurs 1-2 months after the end of use. Apply the cream to open wounds and areas larger than 500 cm², as well as exposure to the sun and other sources of UV radiation during and up to 1-2 months after treatment, should be avoided. The drug should only be used under medical supervision, and hands should be washed thoroughly after applying the cream.
