Has anyone with salicylate asthma had a recurrence of symptoms despite biological treatment?
Wytam Trimbow worked for 2 months for asthma, it was great... and stopped, just like the previous inhalations. Has anyone had it too? What now? :( Is there anything else that helps you with severe asthma? Doctors only change inhalations... I have been treating my asthma biologically since May, the severity has returned. Can you recommend a pulmonologist who is looking deeper, who will want to find out the cause of the deterioration? I have salicylate asthma, and I also have shortness of breath after histamine.

Unfortunately, in patients with severe asthma, especially salicylate asthma and histamine hyperreactivity, the response to treatment can be difficult and variable. That Trimbow worked for some time suggests that the treatment was partially effective, but the problem may lie deeper, such as chronic inflammation, food intolerances, infections, reflux, or exposure to hidden allergens.
If biological treatment (e.g. dupilumab, mepolizumab) was started in May, the body may need more time to react, sometimes several months.
