If I experience scanty brown spotting on day 6 of a 7-day course of vaginal Lutein 50 mg, should I continue or discontinue treatment?

During a 7-day treatment with Lutein (vaginal 50mg) on the 6th day I got brown but scant spotting. I still have one day left before the full treatment is finished. In such a situation, should I continue or stop taking Lutein due to the appearance of spotting?

When using vaginal lutein, spotting, especially sparse and brown, may occur and does not necessarily mean that therapy must be discontinued.

Bleeding or spotting often occurs 7 to 10 days after the end of treatment and is a reaction to changes in the lining of the uterus under the influence of progesterone. If the spotting is not abundant, accompanied by severe pain or other disturbing symptoms, it is recommended to continue treatment until the end of the recommended period.

If bleeding increases or other side effects occur, consult a doctor. Continuation of the treatment allows for the proper functioning of progesterone and stabilization of the endometrium.
