Before going to India, it is mandatory to get vaccinated against yellow fever.
The vaccine is available under the trade name Stamaril and can be purchased from a pharmacy with a prescription.
Some pharmacies also offer a paid service of issuing a prescription for the vaccine and administering the vaccine at the pharmacy.
In order to obtain immunity, it is enough to take 1 dose of the vaccine. It is worth planning the vaccination accordingly, as the vaccine should be administered at least 10 days before arrival in the endemic area – administered less time before arrival may not develop immunity in the expected time. Immunity lasts up to 10 years after administration of the drug.
Stamaril is intended for adults and children from 9 months of age (children cannot get vaccinated at the pharmacy – consultation with a paediatrician is necessary).
Here you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy. Next to the names of some pharmacies there is information about the vaccination service (along with the price list):

Before leaving, it is also worth planning vaccinations from the list of optional vaccinations, these are vaccines against hepatitis A and B, typhoid, cholera, dengue and Japanese encephalitis. Before starting the vaccination cycle, you should consult a travel medicine doctor.
Here you can take advantage of the teleconsultation:
