Low blood pressure, such as 90/60 mmHg, may be due to the strong antihypertensive effect of the drug. Valtricom contains three blood pressure lowering substances: amlodipine, valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide.
Symptoms such as dizziness, feeling faint or "light-headed" can occur along with low blood pressure and are associated with decreased blood flow to the brain. It is worth consulting a doctor – it is possible that the dose of the drug is too high or a modification of the therapy is needed. Also, monitor your blood pressure regularly and report dizziness, weakness, or fainting.
